EXPERIENCING MARYLAND WITH THE GRADUATE ANNAPOLIS
I’ve loved The Graduate Hotels ever since I was in college at The University of Mississippi. We had a Graduate Hotel location in Oxford and it was always one of my favorite spots. You can find my blog post about my stay at the Oxford location HERE. My friends and I would always visit the rooftop for cocktails and study for exams in their cute coffee cafe. The second you walk in the front doors of The Graduate Hotels you can immediately tell that every single detail was carefully curated and selected specifically for the particular location. The interior design is unlike any other and makes for the most magical “themed” experience. Now, after visiting The Graduate Annapolis location, I can officially say that this statement still holds true.

ABOUT THE GRADUATE ANNAPOLIS
THE LOCATION:
In my opinion, a convenient location makes all the difference - The Graduate Annapolis is just a short stroll from tourist hot spots including the U.S. Naval Academy, St. John’s College and Chesapeake Bay. The hotel is located in the heart of the Annapolis Arts District and is in such an ideal location for walking! My mom and I enjoyed getting our steps in and exploring the cute coastal town!
THE COMMON AREAS:
All of the common areas in the hotel are absolutely gorgeous. Since Annapolis is the home of the Naval Academy, the hotel was designed with a coastal, bayside theme in mind and that was apparent throughout the entire property. Like I previously mentioned, you can truly tell that the designers of the hotel put a lot of careful thought and consideration into every detail - Which makes for a very inspiring, curated experience.
THE ROOMS:
The rooms are absolutely STUNNING and also followed the coastal, bayside theme that is carried throughout the rest of the hotel! My mom and I stayed in the queen-queen room and it overlooked the atrium which was absolutely unreal to say the least. The atrium walls were covered from floor to ceiling with framed photos of ships - SO COOL! The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed for a great stay. Plus, the hotel staff even left us a gift basket that we received in our room upon arrival, filled with local treasures - In addition to a fruit tray and champagne bottle. That was so thoughtful and instantly made our stay that much more special. Here is what The Graduate website says about the room:
“Perfect for a traveling pair, our Graduate Queen-Queen rooms are outfitted with two double beds, a work station and lounge chair. These chic retreats include interior atrium views, Annapolis charm and modern finishes.”

THE RESTAURANTS:
Trophy Room: The Trophy Room restaurant offers guests and locals alike a dining destination complete with playful menu items reflecting regional flavors and local influences. My mom and I got to eat at the restaurant for dinner on our first night + brunch on Sunday and everything was fabulous! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly.
Poindexter: Poindexter serves coffee and café favorites, including their signature breakfast sandwiches. We loved grabbing a latte here in the mornings before heading out on the town.
Grab-N-Go: The hotel also has a late night grab-n-go bar filled with snacks, fruit, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages which we thought was super convenient!
Check out some photos I took of the property below!
Highly recommend the margarita flatbread at Trophy Room!
The hotel gym had a peloton which made me so happy!
