Pillow | Tulips | Dishware | Pink Glasses | Napkins | Table Runner | Chargers
It's been a while since I've done a home decor blog post-- So in honor of the arrival of both Spring and April, I've decided to share my Easter tablescape with you all! Hopefully this inspires you to adjust your table or brighten up your space a little bit for Spring. I truly enjoy making small changes to my interior as the seasons change. This is because I love to experience the unique look and feel of each season even when I'm inside my home. Even doing small things such as switching out your table centerpiece, adjusting your fragrances, or changing up your couch pillows will do the trick. You will be surprised how great these small changes make you feel and how uplifting they are to your mood.
I began creating this look by placing a neutral colored linen runner across my table. Table runners are such a great accent piece and a fabulous way add to your current look. I purchased mine locally, but you can find one very similar to mine here. For a more cost effective option, you can purchase burlap or linen fabric and simply cut it to fit your table! You can also fray the edges with a pair of scissors to create a more "fringed" look, similar to mine. For my centerpiece, I swapped out the cotton I had been using for fall/winter and replaced it with these artificial tulips which actually look very real. To me, tulips just scream "Spring"!
Lately I am loving anything and everything blush pink colored so I decided to use quite a few touches of this color on my table this year. First off let's talk about these gorgeous striped linen napkins from Pottery Barn. They really help tie in both the linen table runner and the blush pink color. I also picked up these pink drink glasses from West Elm. The color of the glass and the design on them is absolutely stunning in person, even more so than in these photos. If you watch my Instagram stories, you probably know I use these everyday and obsessed is an understatement!
As for the dishware, you can find these pretty burlap chargers here. I like to use chargers instead of place mats when I'm using a table runner to avoid overcrowding the table. On top of the charger I stacked my dinner plate, desert plate, napkin and then bowl. All of my plates and bowls are an older set that they no longer sell at Anthropologie, although you can find a very similar set here.
To complete the look, I added a bunny teapot that I picked up at my local HomeGoods store. HomeGoods has the best seasonal accent pieces for amazing prices, you really can't beat them! I also added the cutest furry accent pillow from World Market to my chair- it can be found here. If you really want to run with the whole Easter theme, you could also add cute painted eggs inside of your bowls. I saw the cutest artificial eggs at Target the other day while shopping!
