On Tuesday night I returned from the most amazing vacation to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This trip was such a special one because I got to travel alone with my daddy. Being that I’m one of three girls, alone time is usually very rare, especially when it comes to traveling. We had the best time eating, drinking, skiing and bonding all week! My dad and I are both huge skiers and the runs here did not disappoint!!! Jackson Hole is such an incredible place and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to check it off my bucket list. I highly recommend traveling here if you ever get the chance. There is so much to do no matter the time of year you visit. Seriously, It’s absolutely breathtaking during both the winter and the summer.
I will say, it’s very important to stay super hydrated when traveling to places with such high elevation changes. I unfortunately got altitude sickness the last day of our trip, so be sure to tackle that on the front end and prepare ahead of time so you don’t end up like I did! Regardless, it was the trip of a lifetime and we got to experience so much during our few days in Jackson. With that, here are my recommendations on where to say, where to eat/drink, and what to do in Jackson Hole! Enjoy!!

Granary Restaurant at Spring Creek
Cowboy Coffee
Persephone Bakery: Try the breakfast hash and chai tea latte. They also have amazing chocolate chip cookies and great coffee drinks.
Teton Thai: Best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. My dad and I loved this place so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
SPUR: We went here for breakfast and dinner- Very good. Try the short ribs.
Bar Enoteca: Located within Hotel Terra. We grabbed our morning lattes and breakfast here. Also a great spot for dinner and lunch!
Villagio Osteria: Homemade pastas, delicious Italian food. Located inside of Hotel Terra.
Hatch: Mexican food.
The Handle Bar: Located at The Four Seasons. Great spot for lunch or apres ski!
FOOD ON THE MOUNTAIN:
Corbet’s Cabin: Take the tram to the very highest point of the mountain for some delicious waffles. But be warned, if you’re going to ski down, these are mostly black and hard blue runs.
Piste Mountain Bistro: We ate lunch here twice. The food is great and it’s the perfect place to stop and refuel while skiing. Plus the view of the valley is STUNNING.
BARS:
Mangy Moose: Fun spot for apres. Beer, nachos and live music!
Million Dollar Cowboy Bar: Very touristy but fun for dancing and drinks!
Stagecoach: A little more of a local, hidden gem. Live music on Thursday nights!!

HOW I DRESS FOR SKIING:
I got so many messages asking how I stayed warm and layered while skiing in Jackson Hole. I thought it would be helpful to make a list of the ski gear that I brought along with me on the trip. I usually wore two layers underneath my ski jacket and two layers underneath my ski pants. Bringing glove liners, hot hands and toe warmers were also major key. I will mention that a few days of our trip it was below freezing. The amount of layers you’ll need depends on the temperature and the time of the year. I would suggest over-preparing because you can always remove layers if you get hot. I’ll link everything I brought below, simply click on any of the items on the list to shop!
Packing List:
Ski Jacket (Similar color / Same brand)
