Another incredible New York Fashion Week experience has come and gone. When the pandemic hit last year, New York was pretty much closed and fashion week was obviously cancelled. I had attended fashion week the year prior in 2019 and it was truly one of the most incredible experiences of my life. You can find that blog post HERE - In that post I also included helpful tips for attending! // That’s why this year, I wasn’t initially planning on attending but I’m so glad I ended up going last minute. Since the trip was very spur of the moment (I mean… we literally planned it ONE week before) we really didn’t have much time to reach out to many brands or fill up our calendar with show room visits but regardless it was an absolute blast! My girls and I had the best time exploring the city, shooting outfit inspiration + content, eating incredible food and hitting up the insane shopping scene! We also had the opportunity to attend “The Talks” at The Spring Studios and hear some incredibly successful entrepreneurs share a few words of wisdom. In addition, we were able to go check out the Rebecca Minkoff presentation for her new collection, which was incredible to say the least!
I’ve had so much time to reflect over the past year and I’ve truly become so thankful for this single season in my life. I’m soaking up all the time I’ve been given to basically be able to do whatever I want, whenever I want! The fact that I can decide to go to New York on a whim is such an incredible blessing that I don’t take for granted. It’s crazy to think that I wouldn’t have been able to create so many of these unforgettable memories if my path had led me elsewhere. I know it won’t be like this forever, but for now I’m so thankful that I’m able to be spontaneous. Time is a gift and I’m not wasting a single second of it - I am truly LIVING!! Thank you Jesus!
