Hi friends! It’s been a minute since publishing my last blog post and I’m thrilled to be back consistently writing new content for you all. Life lately has been quite a whirlwind between moving states, starting a new job and purchasing a second home! If you’ve followed me for a while you probably know that traveling always fills my cup. Because of this, last month I decided booked a trip to New York City for Fashion Week and it was a much needed getaway in the midst of all the craziness! I try to take this trip every September and it’s always one of my very favorites, mainly because I have so much fun outfit planning from all of my favorite stores. But even more so because the big city always energizes and re-inspires me in a way that’s hard to explain. I always enjoy checking out new hotels while visiting New York and this trip I stayed at the fabulous Westgate Grand Central. You can also find and follow them on Instagram HERE.

The Westgate New York Grand Central is a stunning property that I feel almost took me back in time. It exudes elegance with details that are both modern, antique and luxe. Upon entering the hotel, you walk into a lobby filled with velvet furniture, gold accents, upholstered fabric and beautiful stone accents. The hotel staff were so welcoming from the second I arrived and continued to be super accommodating throughout the entirety of my stay. Customer service is always a big deal to me, and The Westgate truly went above and beyond for us. They were so helpful and provided so many great recommendations!
Once I got all checked in and made it up to the room, my first impression was definitely how spacious it was in size. Especially for being a New York property, I was SO pleasantly surprised by how big it was. The room itself had ample room for my luggage to be spread out, a large closet to hang all my outfits for the weekend and nice sized bathroom as well. I also always like to share a review of the bed itself, because for me comfort is key when traveling — I can honestly say I slept so well in this room, the bed was so luxurious and huge! I felt so refreshed and revived each morning waking up here.
Some of my other favorite things about this property was the full service bar located in the hotel lobby that turned into a Starbucks coffee shop in the morning. I fully took advantage of this and it was so convenient being able to grab an iced latte in the morning to take back up to my room while getting ready for the day. There was also a fully stocked market located next to the bar in the lobby, which I enjoyed grabbing snacks and other items at throughout my stay. I also can’t forget to mention the prime location of The Westgate Grand Central. The property is centrally located to many great shops, restaurants, bars and of course Grand Central Station itself (which was stunning!!) It was in walking distance to all Manhattan has to offer and was right in the hustle + bustle of everything which I absolutely loved.
In conclusion, I highly recommend taking a trip to New York. This city is so lively with endless things to do and see! While visiting, I suggest staying at The Westgate New York Grand Central, I can guarantee you won’t regret booking a room at this property. The prime location, friendly staff, fabulous decor and comfortable room makes this property the total package (which in my opinion is hard to come by these days). I will definitely be back in the city in the near future and I hope to stay at The Westgate again very soon! Thanks for reading and feel free to reach out with any additional questions. XOXO
